Rovio took quite long to release Angry Birds for the growing Windows Phone platform back then and ever since, there haven’t been regular updates like their iOS and Android counterparts. Maybe one reason was that Windows Phone wasn’t that much popular as Nokia and Microsoft hyped. But ever since the dawn of Windows Phone 8, the OS has taken a boost and developers are actually looking forward to porting and developing their apps to the OS.
This must also be the case with Rovio, as they have finally brought all the updates to the original Angry Birds game for Windows Phone and it’s free to grab until 15th of May. That’s 13 more days from now. So, if you’ve got your Windows Phone in your pocket that runs WP7.5/WP7.8/WP8, then launch the Marketplace and download the app!
If you have friends that have Windows Phone devices too, share this post with them to let them know about the game.
