The OnePlus 2 will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD In-Cell display that the company says is brighter than that of last year’s model. Below the display is hardware button that houses a fingerprint scanner, which the company says is faster than the iPhone’s TouchID and lets users save up to five fingerprints. OnePlus 2 runs on OxygenOS, based on the latest Android version Lollipop 5.1. It is the first device to ship with OnePlus’ own operating system out of the box. “With the OnePlus 2, we’re making a bet on the future, and doubling down on a holistic product experience,” said OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei.
OnePlus 2 sports a 13MP rear camera with a 1.3-micron sensor, laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and Optical Image Stabilization system; on the front is a 5MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 3,300mAh that is approximately 10% bigger than the 3,100mAh battery of the original model.
