LG is bringing the Knock feature (formerly known as KnockON) to its affordable L Series II smartphones next month. The feature will be included in the forthcoming Maintenance Release upgrade, rolling out starting from January 2014.
Knock allows users to turn the smartphone on and off by tapping twice on the display.LG Knock was first introduced in LG G2 smartphone and later expanded to G Pad 8.3 tablet and G Flex smartphone. The company has also revealed that all of its future key mobile devices will have Knock built in.
LG has not revealed more details of the Knock update for L-series II smartphones but we expect to hear something very soon.
