In this ever changing world of Technology, Gadgets and Gizmos, a new concept always tries to make it to the mainstream market. Although in a nascent stage right now, we have seen quite a lot of tech giants releasing handsets sporting curved displays. Rightly, Samsung was the first to draw attention with the Galaxy Round, closely followed by its compatriot LG with the impressive Gflex.
Looking at the past we can surely say that the fruit company has been quite reluctant to be an early adopter, this latest patent filing surely insinuates at something interesting brewing in Apple labs.
Though Patent filings have never been a sure indicator of a particular feature making or not making it to the final product, but it’s very much clear that the fruit company is considering it. Here is a picture showing the latest patent granted by the US patent and trademark office.
Following this news, a lot of concepts have flooded the internet. The concepts designing are rge work of Italian design outfit SET Solution, and the first, called iPhone Air, shows us what the iPhone 5s could look like if it borrowed some of the new iPad Air design language. The full-size Apple slate has benefited greatly after stealing its form factor from the iPad mini, and although this concept is somewhat unrealistic at the moment in that, even by Apple’s standards, it’s infeasibly thin, it does look absolutely stunning.

The concept looks stunning as well as exciting. Apple generally tends to reserve patents on technologies which they intend to use in the future. After much anticipation and long wait, we haven’t seen NFC in the iPhone till date. Only time will tell the way company intends to use curved display technology in their flagships.
